Make it a Guided Experience

• Mixed group tours offered Mon-Sat at 10am or contact us for a private start time.
• All of our mountain bike tours are private for you or your group, no additional persons will be added once your tour is booked
• Have a pre-ride consultation and preview a tailored route matched to your ability level
• Access our mountain bike rental fleet with discounts on any gear from our shop
• A local guide with first aid training will handle navigation and can provide helpful tips and skill instruction (you tell us how much instruction you would like, we don’t do unsolicited explaining on our rides)
• Tools, first aid supplies, and snacks provided by your guide
• Photos and GoPro video shared post ride
• Post ride finish back at 910 Yampa St’s Mountain Tap Brewery for pizza and beer (Additional Charge)
• Guided rides are offered under permit from the City of Steamboat Springs, rates includes trail user fee

*Maximum group size for guided tours is 4 riders and minimum age is 16. **A guide gratuity is suggested if you have an excellent outing with your guide.

Cancellations

• Late arrivals and early departures are not eligible for any refunds
• If we deem weather conditions to be adverse for guided activities we will do our best to notify you in advance and offer a rescheduled time or credit towards future ride.

Required Gear

For all rentals and guided experiences we will provide the latest weather and trail conditions before you head out, so you can prepare accordingly. Here is a general suggested checklist of gear to come with:

• Bike appropriate clothing that will regulate your temperature and wick away sweat (no cotton)
• Rain jacket or wind breaker
• Bike gloves
• Small backpack or fanny pack to carry essentials and shed your clothing layers if you get warm
• Sunglasses
• Energy snacks & water
• Sunscreen and lip balm

Fitness and Experience

We will accommodate all ability levels, however for an enjoyable experience riders should come prepared for periods of strenuous riding, variable weather, and terrain challenges. We do our best to asses your riding ability and needs in advance of your ride, so just let us know if there is anything we should be aware of so we can accomodate.
