Available Position - Bike Mechanic
We’ve built a reputation for new bike builds, service repairs, and guided experiences delivered at the highest possible level. Responsibilities
• Build and service bikes from a range of brands while following service specifications
• Follow our specific procedures for service work, scheduling, record keeping, and customer interactions to ensure exceptional service experiences.
• Assist customers with determining needed service work and repair parts
• Assist on the sales floor with rentals as well as selling in-store products such as new bikes, repair parts, components, softgoods, and accessories.
• Stay up to date with technical training, product updates, and help improve our offerings.
• Opportunity for additional work with our cycling camps, guided rides, and events.
What We’re Looking For
• Direct experience with bike repair and customer service in a professional setting.
• Experience working on mountain, road, and gravel bikes is a must.
• An attitude of collaboration around our approaches, processes, and product offerings.
• A commitment to deliver the absolute best customer experience, strive for excellence with all tasks, and foster positive relationships with our customers.
• Flexible & Team-Oriented, taking on other tasks and projects that help the team succeed.
• Proficiency with Lightspeed POS is a plus as this is central to our sales and ops processes.
• Experience with wheel building and suspension service is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
• Job Type: Full-time or part-time, in person Steamboat Springs, CO
• Hours: 24-40 hours/week, with weekends in season
• Compensation: $22+/HR commensurate with experience, commission potential
• Sick pay: Accrued based on hours worked.
